Official Visit of H.E. Mr. Muzaffarbek Madrakhimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Cyprus

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry had the honour of hosting H.E. Mr. Muzaffarbek Madrakhimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the context of strengthening bilateral economic relations.

Mr. Stavros Stavrou, President of the Cyprus Chamber, welcomed the Deputy Minister and underlined the Chamber’s strong interest in fostering closer ties with Uzbekistan, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, education, and innovation.

The two sides exchanged views on how to build mutually beneficial partnerships between the private sectors of both countries, with a shared commitment to open new channels for economic cooperation.

This important visit laid the groundwork for future collaboration and closer engagement between Cyprus and Uzbekistan.
